"A Must Read Before You Purchase a Pop-Up Display Booth!"

China has flooded the US Market with Pop-Up Displays, Many of these Display Booths are poorly designed and will cause you a lot of frustration. You will here other small companies telling you that the Pop-Up Display was made in the US, or that it is an Import but is a good unit. Remember! If the price seems to good to be true, than it probably is and you do NOT want to be at your Trade Show with a pile of junk! Many of these cheap Booths fall apart during transportation and many times the poor quality case lid falls off and your display is all over the UPS or Fed Ex Truck Truck!

Many imported Pop-Up Display Frames are made out of cheap material and many pieces that fall apart very easily. Many times people arrive at their Trade Show/Convention with their Pop-Up broken in more than one place.

Shipping case with wheels - Very Important most people selling import Pop-Up Booths are selling the “Blow Molded” case. You DO NOT want this case! They are very flimsy and break very easy. They bend so easy that the Lid pops off in many cases. (No Pun) Also the case hardware ( Locks & Latches ) are made from poor quality material and break often. The wheels and Axle are very important also. Many people that end up with one of these cheap Displays end up having to drag the case because the Axle or one ( Or Both ) of the wheels broke. This will cause you much frustration!

    Too Many Channel Bars?

ALL Pop-Up’s from China come with multiple Single Channel Bars that take much longer to set up and at times can be quite frustrating. ( Sometimes they don’t even fit and you need to bend the frame to get them on! )

    Fire Retardant Fabric Panels?

Most of the Fabric Panels that come from China are not approved by the FDA and are in many cases considered a fire hazard. The approved and also Industry Standard Fabric Panels ( Frontrunner ) are FDA approved and are Fire Retardant and have a nice smooth look and will not make your Pop-Up Booth look used.

    Watch Out For Cheap Glue!

Watch out for the heat! Pop-Up Booths spend most of there time packed in it’s case stored in HOT places. We also have seen and heard many nightmare stories of people showing up to their Trade Show Booth with a “Melted” Display. That’s Right! The cheap glue from China was not up to Temp. Standards.

    Are Your Lamps 150 Watts?

Many Trade Show Display Companies are selling Pop-Up Displays with 200 watt Halogen Lamps. Las Vegas and many other large cities have banned 200 halogen Lamps due to fire issues and people getting burned when they dismantle their Pop-Up Booth. To avoid heat issues from the Lamps you might be interested in our Led Lamps.

Is Your Display A Bit Flimsy?

MOST Pop-Up Display Systems that come from China are very flimsy and can tip over easy with the slightest touch. When a Display is flimsy it can be very difficult to align your panels and your graphics might not look even.

    Strong Hubs Are Very Important.

Many Display Hubs (This holds your frame together) from China are made of cheap material. The Hub of your Pop-Up is the main support of the frame. We hear too many times of people not being able to set their Display up due to a broken or damaged Hub. It is amazing how a small piece can cause such a huge problem. (Check out What Our Hubs Are Made Of!)

    So What Are Your Options?

    You Have 3 Options

Choose a High Quality Pop-Up Display from a Company that has been in business for many years.

Choose an Import Pop-Up Display from us that has been approved by us. We have a Factory in China that makes a Pop-Up Booth to our standards. People from our Company visit each year to work with and discuss the quality of the products we sell.

Choose a Pop-Up Display from any of many new Trade Show Display Companies that are on the Internet and end up with a product that will bring frustrating moments in your life that “WE KNOW" you do NOT want to deal with.

We do not only sell Exhibits, but we have also been to many Conventions and fully understand how frustrating a Trade Show/Convention can be. We offer Exhibiting Tips To Save You Money And Frustration (Hair).

REMEMBER! For Example…if someone is selling a Pop-Up for $595 or something close to that… they are still making a profit! So ask yourself… How much of a piece of junk is this thing!?

Portable Displays! What’s the difference, anyway?

  1. You see them everywhere.  They all look the same on the web.  Why are some Portable Trade Show Displays $2000+ and some are $900.  We would like to think that these are all equal, and that we have just hit the jackpot, saving a thousand dollars. RIGHT? Wrong. The unseen differences are big.  Here are a few things that are premium on our displays:

  2. Hubs are DuPont Super Tuff nylon, almost indestructible, an Engineering Thermoplastic, cost $5.00 per pound.  Others use ABS, a good plastic, just not for this, costs $1.00 per pound. Our QA test is freezing our hubs, and having our production guys throw them at the ground as hard as they can without breaking.  You say I live in Hawaii, it never freezes here.  How about that airplane at 40,000 feet, how cold is it?  Then you arrive at your destination… we all know how gentle baggage handlers are.

  3. Aluminum tubing, theirs is typically dead soft, like a beer can. It bends and stays bent. Ours is 5051-T6.  This is aluminum that is higher quality, so it can be heat treated.  The heat treating makes it much stronger/springy, helping keep the tubes from bending.

  4. Our tubing is powder coated, for good looks and to keep your hands from getting black handling it as the tubing oxidizes with age (it’s a scientific fact).

  5. We rivet our hubs to the tubing.  We hear it all the time, that riveting is cheap.  The reality is that a GOOD rivet machine costs $20,000. It takes two special sizes ($40,000) to complete a frame.  You will also hear things like, “you can do field repairs with screws and nuts”. Our frames don’t need field repairs.  This is a typical competitor’s sales person trying to make lemonade out of lemons.

  6. Our Pop Up Display uses self aligning, magnet to magnet, panel attachment.  Others use magnet to steel channel bars. If you don’t put the panel on exactly right, you might pull it up and do it again.  With magnet to magnet panel attachment, you just put the panel on and it aligns itself instantly.

  7. We have 7 channel bars (1 piece), instead of 21 channel bars like others.  Again, they require using less than 1/3 the assembly time.  We also offer 1 piece telescoping aluminum channel bars (pat # 5,501,051) as an option for simple, lifetime usage.  We are the only manufacturer offering them.

  8. We use only Melded Fabrics, Prelude and Frontrunner fabric which meet Flammability & Toxicity Rating:
    ASTM E84-91a “tunnel test”
UBC 8-2 (42-2, 1991 UBC) fully lined protocol
    CAN/ULC – S102-M88
New York State Art.15 Part 1120 Toxicity Test
  9.  “No one told me this”, you say.  When the Fire Marshall asks you for your fire retardant rating and you can’t provide it…. Who knows if you will be able to use your display?  Also a couple of shows down the line when your fabric starts to fray from using Velcro on it, will your display provider warranty it? Melded Fabrics material is Velcro rated/recommended for a hook monofilament of 8 mils or less.  At those prices they CAN’T AFFORD TO.

  10. Does your display provider give you a lifetime warranty on the frame AND channel bars.  The typical imported display has many fragile plastic parts that get lost and/or broken. Even if they do warranty them, it doesn’t help you when you’ve spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to make a great first impression, and your display is held together with duct tape.

  11. Our shipping case is Roto Molded, not blow molded.  It is heavier walled and much less subject to shipping damage.  There is a week that goes by when we don’t get a competitor case with the top missing, and half the contents gone. Again Blow Molding is lighter and 50% cheaper.

  12. We REALLY are the manufacturer. The majority of the web sellers are working from their house/office.  They are getting their product drop shipped from the manufacturer. We invite you to call and make an appointment to tour our manufacturing facility.

  13. Being on the West Coast, we can ship items after other people are closed, sometimes saving the day.

  14. Quality Customer Service is not a goal it is reality.  When you call use, you get a human being 99.99% of the time, not an answering machine over and over again.

In short, we are professionals that offer ‘the complete package’ that makes no excuses.  Call us and let us put a package together for you.
